What Do You Know About Bamboo?
I’ve lived in Japan for over 10 years now. I have a wife and one year old daughter and I was happily settled in the provincial city where I work until March 11th 2011. That was the date of the massive earthquakes and resulting tsunami that hit the north coast of Japan. I’m glad that we weren’t in the firing line of the natural disaster. I’m appalled that Tokyo Electric Company built a nuclear power station in Fukushima by the sea and deliberately built an inadequate sea wall to save money. The country is now in the grip of a nuclear crisis that it thinks it can handle by modern technology and forbearance.
